The intent of this piece is every drummers dream to just groove and have fun doing it. The entire piece is played on an assortment of buckets and garbage cans (both metal and plastic). Parts can be easily doubled if desired. As well, there is the serious moment of the playful rendering of O Canada near the end on kazoos. Any song can be inserted at that point (as long as it is a piece that is normally taken seriously or is high brow). This is scored for an ensemble of at least 8 players. |
